Key Details:

  • UPDATED – Expected Closure Period: June 20 – June 24, June 25 – July 3, July 7 – July 10

  • Bike to Work Day (June 25): Trail will be open
  • Detour Required: Follow posted signs for alternate routes

A Note for Bike Month (June):
We recognize that June is Bike Month, and this closure is especially disruptive for commuters and recreational riders. A special thanks to the project team for coordinating the schedule to ensure the trail for Bike to Work Day (June 25)—helping our community celebrate riding for transportation!

The trail will be closed in late June through July 3 to ensure public safety during the demolition of the Ellston Street Bridge at I-25. Officials expect to reopen the trail on Thursday day, July 3.

The project team understands the inconvenience this closure causes for regular trail users. Respecting the closure will allow the team to complete the project and reopen the trail as quickly as possible. Thank you for your cooperation!
