Starting this August, the Colorado Energy Office will be offering a point-of-sale e-bike rebate program for income-qualifying Coloradans after “Colorado passed the Air Quality Improvement Investments act, which, among other things, earmarked $12 million for electric bike rebate programs”. This comes on the heals of the City of Denver’s wildly successful e-bike rebate program. Eligible residents who receive a voucher through the state’s lottery system will be able to redeem a discount when they buy an e-bike at a “qualified” bike shop. In order for a bike shop to accept vouchers and provide the discount, they will need to get qualified as a “participating retailer.”
Missed the first round or didn’t get selected?
Not to worry! Rebates will be awarded monthly, but you will need to apply each month.
Next application round for the e-bike rebate program will open at 10:00 AM MT on Monday, September 11, 2023 and close at 4:00 PM MT on Monday, September 18, 2023
