Sinton Trail closure postponed
UPDATED: The Sinton Trail under I-25 will remain open for the foreseeable future. The Sinton Trail closure has been postponed, we will update this post once the bridge removal has been rescheduled.
We have just heard from the project team that the closure for demolition of the old bridge has been further postponed with no date set for the future closure. We thank the project team for clear an timely communication of upcoming closures and for the work they’ve done to keep the trail open this summer.
Heads Up for Future Closures
While the trail is generally open, there will be some short, periodic closures to watch for:
- Fall 2024 A longer closure of likely more than a month is anticipated due to drainage work requiring an open trench across Ellston Rd.
