Report from Colorado Bike Summit

Bike Colorado Springs volunteer, Allen Beauchamp, along with a number of other cycling advocates are attending the Colorado Bike Summit presented by Bicycle Colorado Monday and Tuesday February 8 and 9.

Bike Colorado Springs is looking forward to attending Bicycle Colorado‘s 2016 Bicycle Summit tomorrow in Denver. We’re presenting with a panel from Colorado Springs representing Kids on Bikes, the City of Colorado Springs Regional Parks, Trails and Open Space and citizen advocates on “Advancing Change in your Community from the Ground Up”. A lot of forward progress has happened in the past year and the leadership from our new CO Springs Mayor John Suthers and support from our City Council and other leaders throughout the community has been instrumental is paving the way for positive change.
Monday morning, February 8:
Dan Grunig, the Executive Director of Bicycle Colorado kicking off the 2016 Colorado Bicycle Summit in Denver today. Ken Gart, our ColoRADo Bike Czar detailing out the many fantastic things happening for bicycles on not only the statewide but throughout the local levels all around our beautiful and bicycle-friendly state.
