Bike Share Program in Development

Report and Next Steps Announced

Bike share is an important component toward Colorado Springs becoming a bike-friendly city; one that is competitive with other cities, both in and out of Colorado. Bike share is a vital transportation mode for visitors and local residents.   There is demonstrated demand for bike share in the higher-density areas of the city.

Councilwoman Jill Gaebler has been meeting with a group of community members to develop a plan to move forward on a bicycle sharing program for Colorado Springs. The City commissioned the Toole Design Group to develop a feasibility study and the results of that study were made available in November, 2015.
