Celebrate a New Mesa Road Underpass and a Greener Greenway

Join us November 1st as we celebrate a new Mesa Road underpass and a greener Greenway with the completion of the year long Monument Creek Stabilization Project – a project that not only improves the health of the creek but also brings the improvements the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail!

We thank the project team for all the work, communication, clear detours and the opening of the trail connecting to Mesa Rd prior to the underpass being completed.

Thanks to the project team’s efforts we can celebrate:

  • Enhanced the Greenway Trail
    • Pedestrian access ramps provide safe access to the creek corridor
    • Mesa Road underpass improves safety for trail users crossing the busy street
  • Protected crucial water infrastructure: The project stabilizes the creek bed, safeguarding a vital wastewater interceptor and other water lines.
