Downtown and Old North end Transportation workshop
The Old and Near North End neighborhoods serve as important residential communities, but current transportation infrastructure does not provide neighborhood feel that residents have voiced desire for. The City intends to develop a plan that addresses neighborhood concerns and key goals for the future. Your input will help develop a plan outlining projects designed to address increased traffic and safety concerns throughout this long-standing residential neighborhood.
You’re invited to participate in a transportation study workshop to identify challenges and opportunities in the Old and Near North End to create a more pleasant residential neighborhood while accommodating existing and future traffic. Meetings will be held at the City Auditorium from 6 – 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 14 and Wednesday, Aug. 16. Both meetings will have the same format, discussing the same projects.
