Community Invited to Give Input on Proposed Roadway Improvements
To Connect Shooks Run Bicycle Traffic to Downtown

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo — The City of Colorado Springs is asking for feedback during an Open House for roadway improvements on Pikes Peak Ave from Colorado Avenue east to where it intersects with Nevada Ave. The proposed project includes the reduction of travel lanes to accommodate the addition of bike lanes. On-Street parking may also be modified. This project will improve bicycle access from Shooks Run into the downtown core of the city and provide a more pedestrian friendly environment.
