Help prepare the city for spring use the GoCOS App
Though it hasn’t felt like it, Spring has indeed sprung, and so has Spring Cleaning! To help get our trails cleaned up for the lovely warms and long days of summer, Bike Colorado Springs is asking to get your reports of issues into GoCOS, the City of Colorado Springs’ reporting tool! Here are some of the many issues you can report through the easy to use app and website:
- Trash, gravel, sand, snow, or ice in a bikelane
- Traffic lights not triggering for you while cycling
- Cracks and bumps on trails needing repairs
- Trees and branches down on an urban trail
- Dangerous intersections needing infrastructure improvements
- Illegal camps
- And more – just use the search box at the top of list or browse!
Even if you think an issue has already been reported, go ahead and report it again – the more an issue gets reported, the better the City knows of it. Just note that the tool breaks down the issues into different categories – any issues relating to #urbantrails are under the Parks & Recreation category, whereas any #bikelane and intersection issues are under Roads and Traffic category. Reach out to us for any questions and we will be happy to help you!
Please help make our community a better place for everyone! Report issues and concerns using the GoCOS! app either from your mobile device or online. This app is an easy way to make the City of Colorado Springs aware of safety issues and get them addressed. Even the Colorado Springs Police department encourages citizens to submit traffic complaints via this means. Download the app here: https://coloradosprings.gov/gocos.
