El Paso County Parks is kicking off a master planning process to guide how lands around El Paso county are preserved and enjoyed for over the next 5 – 10 years.

The county is conducting a needs assessment survey as part of an effort to better understand residents’ usage and needs for the park and recreation system. Over the past 50 years, the County Park system has grown to 8,000 acres of parks and open space, 130 miles of trails, two award winning nature centers, and a wide variety of innovative education and recreation programs and facilities. Now is your opertunity to shape our county park system for years to come.
