Colorado Springs is a great place to have fun on a bicycle. Whether it’s around your neighborhood, on a mountain trail or cruising the shops downtown, riding a bike gives you a experience your surroundings, a release of your daily stress and a chance to engage in a healthy family exercise.
Below are some of the organizations in Colorado Springs area that provide opportunities for you to get out and experience all that Colorado has to offer for the casual or serious bicyclist.

Kids on Bikes mission is to inspire and empower all kids to lead healthy, active and happy lives through biking.
The freedom, joy, health and friendship that come from exploring your neighborhood by bike is one many of us cherish. In addition there are tremendous health benefits from riding your bike everyday. We want to make biking possible for kids from all walks of life, regardless of income. We believe that by transforming communities, one neighborhood at a time, we can make an incredible impact in the lives of children.

COSMBA is a group advocating for mountain bikers throughout the Pikes Peak region working to build trail, and build community throughout Colorado Springs and beyond.

Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates is a mountain bike advocacy organization who builds, shares and protects mountain bike trail experiences in the Pikes Peak region since 1991

UpaDowna’s mission is to provide access to outdoor adventures for all through events and programs that empower individuals, create healthier communities and foster a respect for the environment. UpaDowna offers a number of events for bicyclists including their social “Pedal Party” rides during the summer and sponsor “Global Fat Bike Day” during the winter.

The Urban Singletrack Project promotes the creation of single track within an urban environment to promote everyday riding through ease of access to all.
Creating Urban Singletrack in unused/unwanted/underutilized parcels of land for the greater good of the community. The dream started in 2007 when the recession hit. Now with a test trail in place, it’s a reality.

The Colorado Springs Cycling Club (CSCC) is a recreational bicycling club which promotes safe and fun cycling for all ages and abilities. Whatever your level of proficiency, from beginner to experienced rider, our club offers enthusiastic cyclist many ways to get more out of riding. Our motto is “Come along for the Ride!”.

Pedals and Pints a social group that welcomes all people; singles, couples, and gays of all ages. We are not a drink to get drunk group, nor are we a dating site. We are a community of fun pople who like to socialize, ride bikes and drink craft beer.
We ride to the breweries on city bike trails. That way we burn some beer calories and make new friends along the way as we sample the best craft beers in the area. We do all this in a safe responsible way.
