Come enjoy a car free morning ride through the Garden of the Gods park, and stop by as Bike Colorado Springs will be hosting a professional photographer from 8:00 Am until Noon. This will be the official launch of our #BikesMatterCOS campaign. We think safe bicycle infrastructure is critical to a modern city but we would like to hear why bikes matter to you. Please Stop by to get your photo taken during the Parks Departments Motorless Morning and join us in support of safe streets for all.

The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, as part of the Pikes Peak Regional History Lecture Series is hosting a discussion covering the past, present, and future of bicycling in the Pikes Peak region. The panel will include Bike Colorado Spring’s very own Engagement Chair Allen Beauchamp; Eric Metzger, McAllister House Museum Executive Director; Jolie NeSmith, PikeRide Executive Director; and Chris Mike, Antique Bike Collector. Claire Swinford, Urban Engagement Manager from the Downtown Partnership will guide panelists through this fascinating discussion.
