Registration Now Open for 25th Annual Bike to Work Day June 27
Bike commuters can partake at breakfast locations across Colorado Springs
Registration for the 25th annual Bike to Work Day, sponsored in part by KOAA News 5 and the Colorado Springs Independent, is now open. Riders can sign up to ride to any one of several breakfast locations around Colorado Springs.
The Corporate Challenge is back by popular demand with employers competing for prizes and bragging rights. Employees are encouraged to join their corporate team or encourage their employer to participate if they aren’t already. Check the Bike to Work webpage for a list of participating organizations.
Bike to Work Day encourages bicycling for personal and community health, alternative transportation, recreation and sustainability. Breakfast locations along the trail network are designed to support how people actually ride their bikes to work while highlighting local businesses that support bicycling in the community.
Breakfast stations are first-come, first-served. Riders are asked to sign up for breakfast stations at which they will partake. Register early to win great prizes and to ensure there’s enough food for everyone.
