Colorado Springs is home to the United State Olympic Committee and to the United States Cycling Federation and world-class velodrom and BMX track so it is not surprising that Colorado Springs hosts many competitive cycling events.The Springs is also headquarters for a number of race promoters. If you have a need to compete in a cycling event or want to volunteer for an event, explore the links here for more information – and get out there and race!
Race Teams

Southern Colorado Velo (So.Co.Velo) Founded in 2010, SoCoVelo is a 501c3 non-profit all-inclusive cycling club based in Colorado Springs, CO. Our primary focus is giving back to the community through partnerships with other cycling non-profits, education and outreach efforts. SoCo Velo sponsors a racing team with support from Criterium Bicycles.

Founded in 1986, Pikes Peak Velo Racing is Colorado Springs’ premier amateur racing Team. Our mission is simple: promote and grow the sport of cycling in the Pikes Peak region through racing, training, community involvement, and strategic partnerships. Pikes Peak Velo is an active, well established USCF / NORBA and ACA Team involved in a variety of cycling disciplines.

The Front Rangers are young men and young women ages 12 – 18 who are interested in riding and learning with other youth. We are also coaches and parents of youth who have a love of cycling to share. Front Rangers is about cycling skills development and about providing opportunities for youth to experience new aspects of cycling — like track riding, road riding, mountain biking and cyclocross — in a fun, educational, social atmosphere.

Sand Creek Sports, Inc. is a Colorado corporation formed in 1990 by Kathleen J. Bohlmann. Andy Bohlmann is the President and Registered Agent. Sand Creek Sports, Inc. was formed to organize and promote bicycle racing in the Pike’s Peak Region of Colorado.
