We teach people how to safely and confidently use e-bikes!
E-bikes allow more people to ride bikes. They can give folks more flexibility, convenience, and power, allowing them to use their bikes more often. Thanks to e-bike rebate programs in many communities around the state and from the State of Colorado, there are a lot of new – and potential – e-bike riders out there!
Bicycle Colorado is working hard to increase access to e-bikes for more people in Colorado. We advocate for infrastructure and policies that will make our streets and trails safer for riders, new and experienced alike.
With our partners the Denver Streets Partnership, we invite you to our free E-Bike 101 course with everything you need to know before and after you start riding an e-bike. Get familiar with how e-bikes work, how to decide what type of e-bike would work best for your needs, and how to be a confident and happy e-bike rider. We will cover what an electric bicycle is, how to handle your e-bike battery, where you can ride e-bikes in Colorado, and best practices for rider safety and etiquette.

Cruisin' Pueblo
Cruisin' Pueblo
May 2, 2024 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The Walter Brewing Company, 126 Oneida St, Pueblo, CO 81003, USA
Cruisin' Pueblo will be kicking off our 2022 Weekly Bicycle "Season" the first Thursday in May 2022 with a Cinco De Mayo Ride!
We meet at Walter's Brewery on Thursday, 5/5 at 6 pm and roll out at 6:30 pm.
This week's ride is 5 - 7 miles with bail out options. We will take Faye's Crossing down Fountain Creek Trail, around Runyon Lake, across Moffat Bridge to the Arkansas River Trail. We will then ride to the Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge - with an option to ride across the bridge, or rest at kayak park. Then return on the Arkansas River Path, up Main Street Trailhead, and go down Main Street back to Walter's.
See the comments for a picture of the map. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/1205691193542699?ref=newsfeed
This is a FREE, weekly, casual paced community bicycle ride for all skill levels with no-one left behind. (*Minors must be accompanied by an adult).
All attendees are encouraged to ride between the Lead (in the front), and the Sweep (in the back) so we can keep the group together.
Friendly Suggestions: Please consider wearing a helmet, having lights on your bicycle, bringing some water, sunscreen, bug spray, a light jacket at times, and some money if you want to enjoy a cold beverage and/or food from Walter's or a food truck on site after the ride!
This is a great way to get moving during the week, meet some new people, and learn safe places to bicycle around Pueblo. All participants are riding at their own risk.
Hope to see you there!
